Most people hide from their fears. They call them cowards but they tend to outlive the brave. Some fears are too great to be ignored, to relentless to flee sometimes there's no other option but to turn and face your fears and see what happens. We see what we expect to see and feel what we expect to feel and if we expect to be afraid then we'll all be afraid and thats the fool's game. If you live your life in the antisapation of doom and the uncertainty of it, if you know it will find you and overwhelm you, why fight it?



Night Blomer



Nobody want to be a nobody. Everyone be they so humble wants to make something of themselves. The question of course is what. Who exactly do you want to be? If you could answer this little conundrum nothing could stand in your way. To be special. A universal desire but with a hidden cost. Whenever you wish to rise above the masses you must separate yourself from them. You must abandon those qualities that are unique unto yourself. You must do what it takes to become something else entirely.



Nunc Dimittis



Death comes to all of us in one form or another. Violence ends, suicides, murders. Thats the norm round here of course. We rather be screaming defiance, open our arms and welcome are inmates waiting. If we're esspecially lucky we may undoubtitly see our day of demise, we may be given our final chance to settle out accounts before we shuffle off this mortal coil. Such a chance is rare and difficult to achieve. But when the end of the day is near and you know what tomorrow will not come will you have the grace to rest in peace. Things die but life goes on. Some reason, some remade, some replaced, some are missed, some prayed for, some cursed, some remain as they always were....alone.



Replacements



We all seek a home in this world. Place where we can feel secure. A language we use is geographic but home is not in fact a physical environment but so much as it is a emotional one. For most of us this means that home is really the people that we have surrounded ourselves with. We are at heart social creatures and fullfillment comes not from within but from without. Pricarious safety indeed. If we make our home in the hearts of others, it's up to them no longer to stay. You think your special? You think your somehow necessary. But your not. You can be replaced. The only person that you can really count on, the only person that will stick by you no matter what happens is you!



The Diarist



Nothing in the history of the world had caused more pain, more violence, more wanted distruction than love. When someone hurts you to the core of your soul the need for revenge can be overwhelming. You don't just want them to feel pain, random suffering is not enough. The only thing that will suffice is for th em to feel what you were feeling. You want to savour the pain every newance so you will know exactly how to inflict it on them. The you are uniquely vulerable. They have the power to hurt you which is unmatched. We discover this instinctly in adolesence from that point on we understand the simple principle that if you want to hurt someone who loves you all you have to do is hurt yourself.



The Falling Man



From earliest times artist of all sorts have tried to leave their mark on the world. After all art without an audience is nothing more than masterbation. The self gradifying act but ultimately unfullfilling. If you wish to affect the world you must submit yourself to its judgement. Without an audience your genius dies with you. Unconsumated, own seed spilled on barren ground. Even if its only one person you must find someone to show your creation to. Unless of course that someone finds you first. Is there any notion that is as attractive as immortality? Why else do we build monuments, have childern so that they will live on after us. There is no need more primal than the need to create. Once begun, you find you care about nothing else. Not your friends, your lovers, not even yourself. Everything you have is focused into the work and there in lies the real danger of creation. If your putting too much of yourself you may have nothing left.



Wrath of God



A man's home is his castle, esspecially mine. But what is safety really? How bright do the lights have to be to banquish the darkness? How thick are the wall that will make you feel safe? Not thick enought I wager. Not thick enough by half. What is good? What is evil? For some the esquisited is God's work. For others he's the devil's truest desciple. Actions are immoral in and of themselves. Its not the what but the why, the how that shades a thing with goodness or will ill. That is simply a question of context.
